This week we are diversifying a bit and offering a very special male for sale at a reduced price. Snowshoe Astraios is full brother to our 8X Champion/Reserve Champion male, Snowshoe Aristides. Together, Aristides and Astraios won the White Male Champion and Reserve Champion banners at the Northeast Alpaca Expo in May. We’re very proud of these two fine males, but we really do not need full brothers working as studs on our farm.
Snowshoe Astraios has very fine, crimpy and dense fiber with well defined lock structure. He is tall and, at two years old, not quite filled out. His temperament, like that of his older brother, is calm. Astraios has started breeding and we expect to have a confirmed pregnancy in a week or so.
