Headed to MAPACA

0

Next weekend is our second and last alpaca show of the spring, the MAPACA Jubilee. We will be showing the same three males who went to the North American Alpaca Show earlier this month: Snowshoe Ammonoosuc who took fourth in his class (which was won by the color champion), Rasalas who took sixth in his class and FBR Zeke who came in second in his class. The competition at North American, as usual, was tough, but MAPACA is a bigger show this year and we expect to compete against some amazing alpacas.

In addition to the halter show, Snowshoe Farm will be offering a bred female alpaca for sale in the StuPENdous Sale at MAPACA. Skye Snow is a beautiful beige female. Her fiber is very finer and has exceptional luster, well defined crimp and a long staple.  Skye is closely related to our multi-champion, Snowshoe Aristides, and we have a lot of those genetics in our herd.

Skye is bred to Alberta Clipper, a full Peruvian male with Jolimont bloodlines that we co-own with Cas-Cad-Nac Farm. Skye is due in late June. Skye Snow’s purchase price includes a free transferable breeding. In other words, you can purchase Skye Snow and receive a free breeding to Snowshoe Aristides to use on one of your females.  This is a great deal! Please come by and check out Skye Snow at the MAPACA StuPENdous Sale.
