Seems like summer just got started and now we have frost warnings for tonight! We’re not in one of the “cold hollows”, so we should be okay. Our garden is very productive right now, but tomatoes are ripening slowly. The green beans are prolific and I’m hoping to get another batch of basil & garlic pickled beans canned today.
The alpacas are loving this weather! Crisp, dry air and low temps (sixties today) and they are in heaven. It’s great because they stay out and graze instead of hanging in front of the fans in the barn. We like to see them stay out on pasture while we still have green grass!
