We finally made the difficult decision to add Venus to our sales list and include her in our Mid-Summer Sale. We acquired Venus when we purchased the Starry Mountain herd last year. This girl is an exceptionally nice female and we would keep her as part of our foundation herd if she wasn’t related to so many of our herd. And we have her ‘dam – who is bred to our color champion, Snowshoe Aristides!
So Venus is on the sales list and is listed at $15000 (okay…so we’re not really eager to sell her). But through the rest of July, Venus is for sale at 50% off!
Venus has very fine and dense fiber and excellent conformation. She won the blue ribbon in her halter class at the 2009 North American Alpaca Show. Venus is bred to Starry’s Rastaban and is due in August. Rastaban is a very nice fawn male with beautiful fiber and should be a wonderful match for Venus.
