Our work changes with the seasons. Some of it is dictated by weather, some by the time of year. In spring we have alpaca shows and shearing; May through October we have babies and in the Fall, we have another round of alpaca shows plus fiber festivals. Our two biggest fiber events are the Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival, which was last weekend, and the NYS Sheep & Wool Festival which is coming up on Oct 16. In between, I scramble to skein and dye yarn for our booth.This rainy weather doesn’t help with yarn drying, so I’ll be getting a lot ready today and hoping it dries over the weekend. By next Thursday, I’ll be packed and ready to head to Rhinebeck. Hope to see a lot of fiber friends there!
