Fall fiber festival season

2

Our last fiber festival of the fall season was this past weekend in White River Junction, VT. Please check it out and plan to make it next year. The Green Mountain Fiber Festival is lots of fun and growing every year. The festival is located in the historic Hotel Coolidge, close to I-91 and the Amtrak station. The festival offers a nice selection of vendors including local yarn shops,  handcrafters and fiber farms. There are workshops both days and a full service yarn shop located in the building. White River Yarns has changed ownership and is now located in the Hotel.

This is a festival that is growing! Watch our calendar for next year’s date!

I attended the fiber festival in Vermont and purchased yarn and a pattern. Thank you for your help because I made the scarf you had on display and it was easy as you said it would be. Anyway, because the yarns purchased in the local WalMarts and JoAnn shops are becomming cheaper and with less in packaging I’m sure the demand for your fibers will increase. Alpaca yarn seems to be easier for me to work with. Yarn from sheep makes me sneeze quite a bit. I had no reaction to your yarn. It was a pleasure to work with. I will be a return customer. Thanks.

I’m so glad you enjoyed our yarn and the scarf pattern Jeanne! I expect new yarn to come back from the mill and soon and will have it posted on our website as soon as I get it skeined and washed.
