Snowshoe Haiku is a lovely female alpaca with fine beige fiber. She has correct conformation and nice, but shy, temperament.
Haiku’s sire is Snowshoe Pharoah, a male who has been underutilized in our breeding program. We love his very fine and crimpy fleece and are pleased to see it passed on to his daughter. Haiku’s dam, Snowshoe FancyPants, was a beautiful daughter of our multi-champion herdsire, Snowshoe Aristides.
We were very pleased with Haiku’s performance at the spring 2017 alpaca shows. She placed 2nd in the Northeast Expo and 3rd in the North American.
Haiku gave birth to her second cria, a healthy and active brown male, in September 2022. She has proven to be an excellent mother.
