Amazing fleece! Skye is lovely beige girl with beautiful, crimpy and lustrous fiber with lasting fineness. We think Skye has one of the best fleeces currently on our farm. She also has correct conformation and a calm temperament.
Skye Snow is show quality and made her debut in fall 2013 against a VERY competitive field. We were pleased with her two solid fourth place finishes competing against some of the best alpacas in the northeast.
Skye comes from our most reliable and valued female line. With the right breeding, this female will produce high quality, award-winning offspring as evidenced by her daughter, Snowshoe Sweet Cicely. Skye gave birth to Sweet Cicely, sired by Alberta Clipper, in 2015. This cria was a spitfire – big and robust, nursing well and running the pasture at one day old. Skye proved to be an excellent mother, as we expected.
