On sale – proven female alpacas

We’ve reviewed our breeding plans for 2017 and can see that we have a number of proven females who also have daughters in our breeding program. We have decided to offer some of these females at reduced prices. They are all excellent proven mothers and each comes with a free TRANSFERABLE breeding.

Snowshoe Star – 11 years young.  Star is half sister to our multi-champion, Snowshoe Aristides. We have an abundance of females from this line in our breeding program and it’s time to let go of a few. Stellar genetics, easy keeper and excellent mother.

Snowshoe Starlet – This 8 year old female does not have the finest fiber in the herd. And she’s definitely a bit “over-conditioned”. Actually, she’s fat!  Starlet is an eating machine and it shows. But when bred to the right male, this girl can produce beautiful offspring. Her first cria, Skye Snow, has matured into a stunning female who gave us yet another beautiful female in this line last year. We recommend breeding Starlet to Starry’s Rastaban, sire of Skye Snow, for a repeat performance.

Fuller Sunrise Naomi – This lovely 6 year old is related to several females in our herd. Now that Naomi’s daughter, Snowshoe Pleione, is ready to breed, we are offering Naomi at a reduced price.

Pensamiento’s Cinnamon Girl – This 12 year old has given our breeding program a number of very nice offspring, including Snowshoe Aria who is due in September. Cinnamon’s pedigree is full of colorful Patagonia genetics.

Starry’s Venus – A blue ribbon winner!  8 years old and proven mother. We are planning to breed Venus’ daughter, Snowshoe Anahita, this year. We recommend breeding Venus to Snowshoe Ammonoosuc, full brother to Snowshoe Aristides.

PHAR Peruvian Fancy Free – Fancy Free is another valuable proven female. At 14 years old, this vigorous and healthy female should still have a few productive years ahead. Fancy Free’s daughter, Snowshoe FancyPants, gave us a beautiful daughter, Snowshoe Haiku, last year, so we’re liking this line.
