We were very excited that female offspring from our multi-champion herdsire, Snowshoe Aristides, were ready to breed this year. Our sales list now includes several young bred females that were sired by Ari, including Snowshoe Cari, Snowshoe FancyPants and Snowshoe Aria.
Each of these females has a dam that has had an impact on our breeding program and, coupled with their amazing sire, leads us to expect that these girls can be important players in top quality breeding programs.
All three females are currently bred and due in 2015. Aria and Cari are both bred to Alberta Clipper, an underutilized herdsire that we co-own with Cas-Cad-Nac Farm. Clipper has dense, fine fiber – 22 microns at 11 years! We have been very pleased with Clipper’s offspring to date. FancyPants is bred to our own Snowshoe Pharoah, another underutilized herdsire who has amazing fine and crimpy fiber. We’re especially excited about this pairing.
The purchase price for each female includes a free rebreeding OR you may opt to use the free breeding for a different female from your farm. Yes – this includes breedings to Snowshoe Aristides!
